Brand, a Vietnam Veteran and long-time rider, died in the accident, with Pyatock injured. Villegas plead guilty to vehicular homicide while driving under the influence. Colorado department of corrections records state Villegas was sentenced to nine years in prison in April of 2011.
The Denver Post reports the cash reward was presented to the good Samaritans on December 15 at the Freedom Harley-Davidson dealership in Lakewood, Colorado.
The reward is offered by Law Tigers, an association of motorcycle accident attorneys. The group offers a $10,000 Hit-and-Run Reward ?to any third person who provides information that leads to a felony conviction of the criminal.?
