Nowhere else in the world can amateur racers gather at Victory Lane for a rider's meeting conducted by RC himself.
"We are thrilled to be back on the storied grounds of Daytona for the third year in a row," says Tim Cotter, director of MX Sports. "Each year we learn a little bit more and that's why we've decided to expand the racing program to a two-day format, something that's never been done before. Amateur racers are a dedicated group and we're committed to giving them a quality event with the utmost track time."

Amateur racers once again have the unprecedented opportunity to compete on one of the most prestigious motorsports grounds in the world only one day after the fastest professionals in the world. With over 800 entries last year, RCSX has expanded to two full days of amateur racing-featuring longer races and practices with more class options to give racers even more track-time over the course of the weekend. Due to the expansion of racing, Ricky Carmichael University will not take place in Daytona this year.
"There is no other racing facility in the world like Daytona International Speedway," said 15-Time Champion, Ricky Carmichael. "I'm excited to be back at my racing home for another year of RCSX. Two days of racing is going to give amateur racers even more seat time on the Daytona Supercross track and I'm looking forward to watching some good racing!"

Last year's RCSX had over 800 entires, thus creating a second day of racing action on the Daytona Supercross track.

Amateur racing takes place on Sunday, March 11 and Monday, March 12. Although Ricky Carmichael University is not taking place in conjunction with RCSX this year, riders should standby for details on where and when RCU will take place in the future.
