A new social media site for bikers has been launched, called www.biketrackdays.com.

The site??s creators say it??s a Facebook/Twitter-style community where you can get in touch with biking friends you??ve met on trackdays, bike meetings or racing.

Once you??ve created a profile, you can interact with friends, see their pictures and videos and also get the latest information on up-coming trackdays. Racers such as Michael Laverty, Dan Linfoot, Simon Crafar and Peter Hickman have already joined the site.

Bike Trackdays?? Scott Davey says. ??We wanted to make a website for bikers that interacts more than just a forum-based website and keeps up with popular sites like Twitter and Facebook, but just for the biking world.

"We want to show what??s going on in the UK and Europe from one place and help people discover how much more is out there, but also to make friends and share these adventures with.

??The site is still in the early stages and like the other community sites it takes members to make it interesting. We look forward to people joining, making friends and posting in groups about your areas of biking that interest you, whether you happen to race in the same championship, meet up at the Ace Cafe every Wednesday, or want like to know who else goes on ride-outs in your area.??
